Madagascar: A deputy of the MAPAR apprehended with 200 million ariary in the boot of her car

The MP MAPAR * Lanto Rakotomanga has been the subject a tough immobilization last night of her vehicle in a popular area of Tananarive after a chase with police. The police had to break the car windows to be able to extract her from the cockpit that she refused to leave.
Bypassing her parliamentary immunity according to supporters of the MP, the police have conducted a search of the vehicle and seized two cartons that contain the sum of 200 million ariary. Many deputies came support her have been dispersed with tear gas canisters.
According to the explanations provided by the leaders of Mapar, the 200 million ariary should be used for the reimbursement of deposits that the candidates of Mapar have previously paid to run in the upcoming communal elections scheduled in late July in the island.
