Madagascar: 19 Indian citizens arrested

Nineteen Indian citizens in an irregular situation were recently arrested in Analakeley, Madagascar. The Malagasy authorities could deport them tomorrow to their country of origin.
These Indian citizens were selling golden plated jewelry when they were surprised by members of the central service for the surveillance of the territory.
Informants would have alerted law enforcement authorities because the foreigners do not speak neither French nor English and even less the Malagasy, invaded the city center as reported in the newspaper L'Express of Madagascar.
According to the police authorities for months, the presence of many Indian vendors of jewelry were out around the capital.
Following an investigation, police were to find that they are in an irregular situation unlike what is mentioned on their visa, hence they were arrest.
The Indian citizens have been released but the authorities concerned and will proceed tomorrow with their deportation.
