Madagascar: 119 people killed by malaria since the beginning of the year

The health authorities are on alert in the Malagasy capital. The autochthonous malaria would threaten several districts of Tananarive as Tanjombato, Ambohimanarina, Anosizato East, Andranonahoatra Itaosy, Bongatsara, Fenoarivo, Ambatomirahavavy.
Ten regions of the Island of 22 from the highlands in the center of the country going through the West and Southwest are affected by the increase in malaria foci.
The malaria virus - transmitted by the anopheline mosquito - has already killed 119 people in Madagascar over nearly 20,000 cases were identified as suspicious. In 2014, the number of cases in the country has reached 395,327 patients.
