Madagascar: 115 Malagasy deputies want to obtain the forfeiture of the president Hery Rajaonarimampianina

115 out of 152 Malagasy deputies filed a petition in late last week to proceed with the forfeiture of the Malagasy President Hery Rajaonarimampianina.
The Permanent Bureau of the National Assembly has seized of the case this Tuesday morning. The plenary session of the lower chamber has thus been postponed. Following this meeting of the Permanent Bureau, another assembly should shortly be held to consider a result of the constitutional events engaged.
According to the Malagasy Constitution and Article 131 thereof: "The President of the Republic is responsible for acts carried out associated to the performance of his functions in the event of high treason, serious defilements or repeated violations of the Constitution, failure to fulfill of his duties patently incompatible along with the exercise of his mandate. ""There can be impeached by the National Assembly by public vote and by a majority of two thirds of its members". "It is justiciable before the Supreme Court of Justice. The indictment may result in the forfeiture of his mandate."
