Kaporal wants to fight against counterfeit products in Mauritius
The leaders of the famous French clothing line, Kaporal, want to stop counterfeiting of their brand in Mauritius.

A fake Kaporal T-shirt is sold for about three euro whereas the original one costs at least 20 euro unity. A parallel market which seriously underestimates the French brand, popular for adolescents and young adults.

Kaporal imitations (T-shirt, jeans, underwear, etc.) are sold on the streets of Port Louis, by unscrupulous traders on the legislation in force. Managers of the brand even went to Mauritius, a few days ago, to see at first-hand the importance of the phenomenon on the island.

In order to protect its economic interests at best, Kaporal society decided to solicit the vigilance of the French customs in its fight against counterfeiting. Since according to Kaporal Company, metropolitan and Reunion Island tourists are very fond of these clothing items sold off at unbeatable prices in Mauritius.

Offenders who bring in their suitcases Kaporal imitations are liable to a fine equivalent to ten times the price of the designer clothing.
