Gérard Gautier, the former head of GIR of Mayotte, arrested at his house

The former head of the regional grouping intervention of Mayotte, Gérard Gautier, whose service is believed to have established a network of drug which caused the death of the young Roukia, was arrested yesterday in Britain.

It is the information channel i> Télé which revealed information. Gérard Gautier was arrested at his house in Rennes, on a commission of Judge Hakim Karki.

"One of the former employees of the former police captain was also arrested and placed in custody," writes i> Télé on his website.
In an interview with the weekly magazine Le Point, Gérard Gautier acknowledged that the GIR has recirculated hard drugs.

However, he says that it is not the one that killed Roukia. "According to the expertise of 4 July 2011 and April 2013 Roukia died of a heroin overdose and - very important - no trace of cocaine was discovered during these scientific investigation!" he explained.
