Comoros: The new Saudi Arabian Ambassador in position since late December to Moroni

The new and first ambassador of Saudi Arabia in the Comoros Union, Hamad bin Muhammad Al-Hajiri presented on23 December his credentials to the President of the Comoros, Ikililou Dhoinine.

The Saudi ambassador has worked as responsible for diplomatic affairs in Tunisia, Italy and in Jordan and occupied for the first time an extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador. Hamad Bin Muhammad Al-Hajiri represents King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in the heart of the Comoros archipelago.

The Comorian president and the new Saudi ambassador to the Comoros recalled in particular the strong bonds of friendship between the two countries.

The diplomatic mission of Saudi Arabia to Moroni is located in the south of the capital in the heart of a building of approximately 1,300 m2 hosts several offices.

The opening of this representation which has been operating since August allows for facilitating direct access to visa applications for Comorian nationals wanting to travel to Mecca and was previously forced to go through Dar es Salaam, Tanzania to achieve the necessary permits.
