Comoros: The new Indian ambassador, ready to assist the Comorian authorities in the energy crisis which the country is currently facing

The new Ambassador of India in the Comoros archipelago, Chandra Ballabh Thapliyal, presented on Tuesday his letters of credence to the President of the Comoros, Ikililou Dhoinine.
"India wants to promote these close ties with the Comoros in all aspects and strengthen the existing relations further and enhance bilateral cooperation," said the Indian ambassador equally in post in the Island since September 2014.
Face against the severe energy that strikes the archipelago in recent months, Chandra Ballabh Thapliyal said that the Indian authorities would be willing to establish a power project of heavy fuel oil soon and which would be capable of generating 18 megawatts of electricity.
