Comoros: The archipelago among the 34 African countries less economically developed

According to a recent report by the CNUCED** released in late last week by the United Nations, the Comoros are among the 34 African countries least developed in terms of economic development and listed in a ranking comprising 88 countries worldwide.
The Comoros archipelago will benefit from "preferential market access and special technical assistance," indicates a press release issued by CNUCED.
As a reminder, the CNUCED sifts through every third year all nations and updates the list of least developed countries, based on three essential criteria, namely per capita income, human capital and economic vulnerability.
