The Comorian company Inter Iles Air created in 2008 has celebrated with great pomp, a few days ago at Bandar es Salam (Moheli) airport, the arrival of a new Cessna Grand Caravan, 12-seat aircraft in its fleet to serve the islands of the archipelago of the Comoros (Grande Comore, Anjouan, Mohéli) and the island of Mayotte.
More than a hundred guests have been invited to the event.
"We are the leader company in the Moon islands, because we are the only ones to serve the four islands of the archipelago and we operate some sixty daily scheduled flights ..." said Seffoudine Inzoudine, the Director of the Inter îles Air, as reported by the newspaper La Gazette des Comores.
As a reminder, Inter îles Air spent 2.5 million dollars for the purchase of this American turboprop unit which is added to the fleet of the company which already owns five planes: 3 Cessna (407, 207, and Grand Caravan) as well as two aircraft on lease (SAAB 340 and Embraer 110).
