The first kick of the pickaxe have been given last Friday in Dimani region located in eastern Grande Comore.
The European Union has thus granted the Comorian authorities a financial envelope of 6 million euro (more than 3 billion Comorian francs) as part of Sustainable Development Support Programme for the Transport sector (PADDST). It is an Italian company which is responsible to carry out the work.
