Comoros: The Comorian Inter Islands Air Company buys a new 12-seater Cessna aircraft

The Comorian Inter Islands Air Company created in 2008 recently has a new type aircraft, Cessna Grand Caravan, 12 seats to serve the islands of the Comoros archipelago (Grande Comore, Anjouan, Mohéli) and the French island of Mayotte.
Inter Islands Air thus paid  2.5 million dollars  for the purchase of this American turboprop unit which is added to the fleet of the company which already owns five planes: 3 Cessna (407, 207 and Grand Caravan) as well as two aircraft on lease (SAAB 340 and Embraer 110).
"Grand Caravan is one of the highest rated models in the world for short flights," said Seffoudine Inzoudine the Director of the airline Inter Islands Air.
The maiden flight of the new aircraft of an autonomy of 2.154 kilometers, is scheduled in the first half of the month of August 2014, as reported by the Journal of Mayotte.
