Comoros: The 4th Summit of the IOC has already cost around 1 million euros

The 4th Summit of the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC) which is planned to be held in Moroni on August 23, 2014, after a first report in late July has already cost about one million euros.
The facades of public buildings have been bought and the main streets have been cleaned to receive different motorcades.
The Beit-Salaam presidential palace where formal dinner, the National Assembly where will be held the opening ceremony as well as the Ministry of External Relations is scheduled also experienced a renovation project.
The clinic of the hospital of Moroni has been adapted to the specific needs related to medical emergencies of crisis.
And the villa located in the hotel Cristal Itsandra Beach will host in theory the president of the French Republic, François Holland, has also been renovated, as reported in the letter of the Indian Ocean.
 As a reminder, the 4th Summit of the the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC) which was opened on July 26, 2014 in the Comoros had been cancelled by Comorian president Ikililou Dhoinine, "as a sign of solidarity" in the wake of the air crash of the flight of Air Algeria AH 5017 above the northeast of Mali, which had cost the lives of about 50 French citizens on the night of 23 to 24 July.
