Comoros: 800,000 euro to upgrade the police force
On Tuesday, Comorian president Ikililou accompanied by a group of Ministers, inogurated the renovated premises of the police in Moroni.
A brand new station was financed with an amount of EUR 700 000 by the United Nations development program. The Government of the Comoros archipelago also contributed to the work for 100 000 euros.
The head of State Ikililou stressed that this building was a permanent tool as part of the modernization of the Comorian police through its various missions in proximity to the security of goods and persons in Moroni.

The President Ikililou also launched a vibrant message to security forces that are fighting against crime and reiterated the full support of the Government. "You must pay the duty imposed by the Act, protect everyone and to uphold human dignity and particularly to complete your mission in the impartiality. We will spare no effort to provide you with the tools you need to accomplish your mission with dignity... The Government of the Republic expects results. Be proud of belonging to the national police. Boost your efforts and face new security challenges. Comorian expect a clear and conspicuous improvement of your daily security. We trust you", said the president Ikililou.

With three new vehicles and 10 motorcycles in their disposition, police officers are so ready to score the city of Moroni to best fulfil their mission of prevention and repression in the heart of the population.
