Big fright during the rehearsal of the military parade for the Independence Day, two helicopters barely avoided collision

While Madagascar will celebrate tomorrow, the 55th anniversary of its independence, the repetition of the military parade in Tananarive almost turned to a tragedy on Wednesday, at the municipal stadium of Mahamasina.
Two helicopters, with inside elite commandos of the Malagasy security forces, have narrowly avoided a collision as a result of an air hole. One of the helicopters of type Alouette II has crashed heavily on the ground on the football field and this, so as not to hit the other helicopter that was in a stationary position, with military rappelling down.
No military was injured in the incident. Apart from a colonel in the forum who in the widespread panic fractured his leg when his foot got caught in the barriers while trying to evacuate as quickly as possible the premises on seeing the helicopter starting to spin.
