An emergency Mauritian doctor reported missing in India

An emergency Mauritian doctor of the Samu, 50 years old, went to India to accompany a patient, on December 29, gives no more sign of life.

The emergency doctor had to make a comeback to Mauritius two days after his arrival. But the doctor missed his flight back to Mauritius. His wife maintains telephone contact with him until January 2. No more news since.

The Mauritian authorities follow closely this worrying disappearance and keep contact with their Indian counterparts
to trace the missing emergency doctor. The Minister of Health, Lormus Bundhoo is currently in a private trip to New Delhi where he is going to meet officials for an update on the research.
