Amara returns to tropical cyclone and Rodrigues placed on cyclone warning Class 2




Amara depression system weakened during the last hours.
 
Amara again becomes a tropical cyclone and is located in the North-East coast of Mauritius and Reunion, now moves to the west-south-west at a speed of 19 km / h.
 
A local 16 hours, Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, tropical cyclone Amara stood at more than 1035 km of Mauritius, 1,255 km to Reunion and just over 450 km from Rodrigues, by the points 17 degrees 8 South and 67 degrees 3 East.

The estimated pressure at the center of the tropical cyclone Amara is 960 hPa.
 
Due to the potential threat of the meteor for this weekend in Rodrigues, a cyclone warning class 2 is in force on the island since 5 p.m.
