Air France invests one million euro for the protection of forests

Air France, which has financially supported in 2008 the Foundation Good Planet as part of an extensive program of conservation of forests in Madagascar and the biodiversity of the island, has decided to contribute again.
Air France today joins with Agence française de développement (AFD) and the French Fund for the global environment (FFEM) for  4.5 million euro, including 1 million directly invested by those responsible for Air France, as reported by the Midi Madagasikara newspaper.
As a reminder, holistic program wants particularly to allow the massive reduction in the deforestation and degradation of forests of the big island and participate in the development of village communities by protecting the exceptional biodiversity of Madagascar.
The program of conservation of forests in Madagascar also wants to develop the scientific knowledge related to forest carbon.
