After 3 months of renovations, the Hotel Veranda Paul et Virginie, part of the Veranda Resorts group, reopens its doors as a 4-star hotel. Located in the village of Grand-Gaube, overlooking the northern islets, the hotel is now establishing itself as a 'Couples' hotel.
This romantic retreat in the north-east of the island has just broadened the range of experiences it offers, with new pleasures to enjoy together. Tandem rides together, romantic massages on the beach, breakfast served in the room all day, a private catamaran cruise, a trip in a traditional pirogue. Experiences to be enjoyed together, the epitome of an intimate escape.
Jennifer Wong, Hotel Manager of Veranda Paul et Virginie, for the last three years, wishes guests "a memorable holiday, sharing time together and creating their own unforgettable holiday experience."
Apart from creating new experiences for couples, the hotel has carried out significant structural renovations in order to enhance the exceptional panoramic view over the northern islets and the turquoise lagoon of Grand-Gaube with its coloured canoes.
Veranda Paul et Virginie now display a resolutely contemporary, fresh, light style while retaining all its picturesque Mauritian charm, combining stones, wood and thatch. The hotel’s rooms and public areas have been redesigned to optimise the view of the lagoon. A new infinity pool, a new fitness room, a Seven Colours spa featuring magnificent frescoes created by the Mauritian artist Dévid and a Shisha bar area complete the hotel's new facilities.
Another Mauritian talent, Melina Audibert, the creative fashion designer, has teamed up with the Veranda Resorts brand to create new signature uniforms for all the new hotel's staff, in a flowing, floral style.
