Two children die of bubonic plague in Madagascar

While pneumonic plague has killed eight people in the Moramanga District in eastern Madagascar at the end of August, the bacillus of bubonic plague has hit Ambohidratrimo in the Analamanga region located in the center of the country.

Two children from the same family have died late last week of the deadly virus, as reported by the madagascar-tribune.com site. The relatives of the victims have been placed under antibiotic treatment.

As a reminder, without treatment within the first few days of illness of the first symptoms, pneumonic plague is fatal in under three days.
