Together to develop tourism in Madagascar!



The National Agency of tourism of Madagascar (ONTM) puts forward in a release policy which it intends to implement in the wake of the return to "constitutional order" in the island and its efforts to promote for the Malagasy tourism product with such a marketing approach further with Air Madagascar so as"to increase the number of tourists and consequently the number of passengers on the lines of the national company". Here's the full release:


"In the context of the relaunch of the destination of Madagascar, favoured by the return to constitutional order that international tour operators take into account for sending tourists, the national airline company Air Madagascar strengthens its association with efforts to promote that the Madagascar National Tourism Office (ONTM) will deploy for the year 2014" 

In this context, Air Madagascar will put at the disposal of the ONTM 100 long-haul tickets so he could invite the international media to discovered in-situ the richness of Malagasy tourism product, and share avid readers/viewers to unique trips. International travel agents will also benefit from this support through the educ-tours than the ONTM and Air Madagascar are jointly organising to train and familiarise these agents tourism products and the service of the company, they sell on catalogues. 

For its part, the ONTM will involve the airline in all of its marketing 2014 shares. Air Madagascar will participate and highlight its products at international shows B2B of tourism (Durban, Beijing, London, Paris, Berlin...) and during the training of French travel agents in dozens of cities in France organised by the ONTM. A partnership on the road shows, particularly on Asian markets, is also established to meet tour operators who could potentially set the destination. 

On the other hand, visibility of the national company on all the marketing tools (brochures, sales manual, website, social networks...) that the ONTM puts at the disposal of the tourists and international professionals, will strengthen the position of Air Madagascar as the main carrier of travellers to and within Madagascar. 

Finally, Air Madagascar is for the 3rd consecutive year the official carrier of the ITM (International tourism Fair Madagascar) exhibition, which will take place from 15 to May 17. Promotional rates for exhibitors and visitors from different regions of Madagascar as well as the Indian Ocean zone will be set up by the national company. Several tickets to win at this trade fair will be also offered Air Madagascar to raise awareness of its products.
 
This win-win partnership demonstrates the mutual solidarity of the two entities in order to increase the number of tourists and consequently the number of passengers on the lines of the national company".
