The unlicensed drivers becoming more and more to circulate on the roads




While the balance sheet of the number of people killed on the roads of Mauritius has been rising steadily since the beginning of 2015, unlicensed motorists are multiplying.

Thus, from January 1 to July 31, 707 offenders were fined for non-possession of a driving license. Last year, 1,190 persons had been penalized for this type of offense.
 
The authorities expect shortly be launching a sensitization campaign to try to stop the growing phenomenon of unlicensed drivers.
