The supplementary budget amendment for Mayotte of The European deputy Yunus Omarjee, not adopted in Strasbourg
Yunus Omarjee introduced an amendment to parliament in Strasbourg on the resolution concerning the multiannual budget of the European Union, according to end discrimination against him in Mayotte in the structural funds and the island scents can have the same design criteria as the other

DOM (Reunion, Guyana, Guadeloupe and Martinique) in the allocation of envelopes granted.

Originally planned in the amount of 475 million euros, the fixed budget allocated to Mayotte will be provided only as of 200 million euro, due to the deficit in France who is struggling to drop below 3 % and which causes problems in the Hexagon in the European Union.
 
The amendment of the Reunionese member Yunus Omarjee has not been adopted by the Parliament by a large majority of European representatives in Strasbourg.
 
Members of groups Socialists and Democrats (SD), EPP (Right), Greens, Liberals (Liberal-Centrist) voted against.
 
The Group of the European United Left (GUE / NGL) voted in favor.
