Seychellois will visit Russia without a visa

Seychellois travelers going to Russia will not in a few months longer require a visa to set foot on Russian soil for an overnight stay of a maximum period of 30 days. The visa waiver expected to become effective before the end of 2015 and possibly coincide with the Christmas holidays.

So far, the Seychellois wanting to travel to Russia need to obtain a visa at the Russian Embassy in Seychelles.

The agreement on the abolition of visas for citizens of the archipelago has been formalized last Wednesday between Minister of Foreign Affairs and Transport of Seychelles Joel Morgan and the Russian Ambassador in the Seychelles, Vladimir Belous.
