Seychelles: Third successive year of profitability for the Air Seychelles Company




The national airline company of the archipelago, Air Seychelles has published this weekend its financial results for 2014 with a third successive year of profitability.
 
The net benefits of Air Seychelles have made further progress last year, with 3.2 million registered dollars, against some 3 million dollars in 2013. The revenue of the company climbed 20% and approached in 2014 107 million dollars.
 
Air Seychelles has transported 412,088 passengers last year, there also an increase of 20% and tonnage for cargo has increased from 5,441 tons in 2013 to 7,311 tons in 2014.
 
As a reminder, Air Seychelles is holds a 40% stake in the company of Abu Dhabi, Etihad Airways. Apart from the domestic routes at the heart of the archipelago, Air Seychelles serves Paris, Dar es Salaam, Tananarive, Mumbai, Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, Johannesburg and Mauritius.
