Seychelles: The former Miss Seychelles 1975 Amelie Michel, charming ambassador of the archipelago has left us...
The former beauty queen of Seychelles in 1975, Amelie Michel, crowned Miss on the eve of the access of the archipelago's independence and who participated in the wake of the prestigious Miss World contest in London, passed away in the end of last month in South Africa, following a brief illness.

However Amelie Michel will remain forever in the hearts of Seychellois for her kindness and as a charming ambassador of Seychelles destination for decades.

In 1975, the future Miss Seychelles had worn a two piece bikini connected by a single wire, while the other candidates marched with the traditional swimsuit one piece of time...

With her big blue eyes and engaging personality in the service of tourism development in Seychelles, those who were privileged to know her, compare her life to that of Diana, real candle that has always shone in the wind and the Seychelles tourist trail.

Passionate woman, Amelie Michel was also at the head of fashion and was able to help her to develop the tourism industry in Seychelles.
