Seychelles: The construction of the first set of classroom of the new tourism Academy completed.




The construction of the new tourism Academy of Seychelles is thus closely followed by the minister of Tourism of the archipelago.
 
The works carried out by the Chinese company Yangtze Construction has resulted on the delivery of the first set of classroom available for students in September 2014 and which coincide at the same time with the opening of laboratories of languages and of the library.
 
A second set of some fifteen classrooms in another block is still in construction and should be completed in December next.
 
The establishment of collective restoration is on its side scheduled to start operation as from mid-October this year.
 
The construction of a kitchen for demonstration and a second restaurant for courses of students as well as a meeting room are also scheduled at the book loads.
 
“We have always put forward the importance of having a modern tourism Academy which is at the image of Seychellois tourism industry, pillar of our insular economy”, said the Minister of Tourism and Culture of Seychelles, Alain Saint-Ange.
 
As a reminder, the construction of the tourism Academy was funded by a loan from the Arab Bank for economic development in Africa (BADEA).
