Seychelles: The Festival Kreol of Victoria will in the near future be adorned in its most beautiful colors to celebrate the Creole World




The 29th Edition of the Festival Kreol of Seychelles will take place from 24 to 31 October 2014, with Victoria which will turn into the capital of the Creole world for several days of festivities.
 
A flamboyant festival which already promises high colors, running at the pace of sega and which will highlight all sections of the creole world gathered under the same cultural banner.
 
Dance, music, artisans, cuisine, creole languages will be deployed throughout this landmark event which converge each year thousands of festival-goers to the Seychelles to dive at the heart of the Creole culture.
 
The town of Victoria will thus start as from 18 October 2014 to acquire its most beautiful colors to put in honour the event on the numerous facades of public buildings and edifices of the Seychellois capital.
 
“Not to be ashamed of showing the Creole culture is an integral part of our islands and it has baptized what we are today”, has highlighted the Minister of Tourism and Culture of Seychelles, Alain Saint-Ange.
 
As a reminder, the most famous Antillais group of the musical world, Kassav, will perform on stage during this Festival Kreol of Victoria which already highly promises explosive mixed emotions.
