Seychelles: Seychelles artists might participate at the international Biennale of Art in Venice in 2015

Seychellois artists could participate in 2015, with a Pavilion dedicated to the archipelago, at the prestigious international Biennale of Art in Venice.
 
Nitin Shroff, professional Seychellois photographer based in Europe and made the proposal to the Minister of tourism and the Culture of Seychelles, Alain Saint-Ange.
 
"The Biennale of art in Venice has the potential to position the Seychelles on the map of the Visual arts of the world culture. The Biennale of Art in Venice will also provide better visibility in Seychelles ", inter alia, emphasised Nitin Shroff.
 
The Minister of tourism and Culture, Alain Saint-Ange, has put forward the keen interest shown by his Department in a project "which represents a great revolution for artists, and arts visuals Seychelles", and this, in order to present their works in the heart of one of the most prestigious events of contemporary art in the world.
 
As a reminder, the 56th Venice Art Biennale will take place from May 9 to 22 November 2015.
