Seychelles: Preparation of the first edition of the Culinary and Arts Festival of Praslin Island

The Minister of tourism and the Culture of Seychelles, Alain Saint-Ange, presided last week over a working meeting which brought together around the table the professionals of tourism of the island of Praslin as well as several members of the National Assembly.
 
The first edition of the culinary and art festival of Praslin which will take place from 5 to 7 September was the main topic of discussion.
 
The opening ceremony will be launched on the side of Grande-Anse.
 
Cake recipes, pies and ice cream will be especially made from the nucleus of the famous sea Seychelles coconut.
 
The Ministry of tourism and Culture of the archipelago and the Tourist Office are currently working to finalise the definitive program of festivities.
 
A culinary competition under the supervision of the Seychelles Tourism Academy is already registered on the calendar of the festivities.
 
"The Ministry of tourism and Culture and the Tourist Office responded to a call of Praslin elected for the organisation of an event at nationwide in the heart of the island. The event around the island of Praslin will be completely different from the other festivities to position Praslin on the world tourism map," said the Minister of tourism and the Culture of Seychelles, Alain Saint-Ange.
