Seychelles: Electric golf carts allowed for transfers on the island of La Digue
The Council of Ministers of Seychelles has authorized the use of the electric carts for the practice of golf for the transfer of tourists to and from La Digue Jetty, Fourth Island in area of five kilometers long by three wide of the Seychelles archipelago.

The Government of Seychelles will also introduce a maximum threshold of electric carts for travel after a precise assessment of the needs of hoteliers on the island of the dyke in the ecological vehicles.

This Government action follows including the numerous remarks of tour operators regarding the lack of taxis to ensure all transfers of customer.

Electric carts are also of a strategic plan of ecotourism with the phasing out of all vehicles fuelled with gasoline on the island of La Digue by 2020.
