Seychelles: A Creole Mass to celebrate the Festival Kreol Victoria




A religious service entirely in Creole led by Father David Alcindor was held on Sunday in the church of of Cap in the island of Mahé to celebrate the Festival Kreol Victoria in the Seychelles, which runs from October 25 to 31, 2013.
 
The Church of Cap has thus vibrated under the sound of, praise and hymns in Creole launched in unison by hundreds of faithful who were seated on benches crowded.
Several politicians, including the Minister of Tourism and Culture, Alain St. Ange, and various members of the organizing committee of the Festival Kreol Victoria attended the church service in Creole.
 
Father David Alcindor during his sermon referred in particular to the pride displayed by today when they claim their Seychellois Creole.
A sermon honoring the Seychelles in their island uniqueness that the Minister of Tourism and Culture, Alain St. Ange, warmly welcomed at a press conference.
