Reunion: The Piton des Neiges covered with a thin white coat
The Piton des Neiges, the highest peak of Reunion, which rises to 3,070 meters above sea level, is covered with a thin layer of snow, and during the night.

On Tuesday morning, the occupants of the shelter of the Piton des Neiges were able to marvel at a cyclical climate phenomenon but rare.

To recap, the snow had fallen on the roof of Reunion in 2003 and 2006, with the same abundance and offered the same magnificent show to all lovers of mountain in the tropics.
