Reunion: First indictments in the murder of the former Royal Marine commando, Carl Davies
The investigation of the death of Carl Davies is progressing rapidly. Two brothers living in a popular neighborhood of Saint-Denis including one juvenile were placed under investigation yesterday and detained on remand for murder.
 
For 48 hours, several other suspects were heard in this case. Already incarcerated for acts of racketeering, robbery and assault, they were extirpated from their cells to answer questions from the police officers of Saint-Denis.
 
Three or four individuals are also supposed to be brought before the prosecutor today.
 
On 9 November 2011, the British sailor, Carl Davies, aged 33, in stopover on the island is found dead in a sunken channel of rainwater evacuation, near a major traffic artery to Saint-Denis of important automobile traffic.
 
Carl Davies is a former commando of Royal Marines, who took part in the last war in Iraq and who had decided to convert the exit of the army in safety fight against piracy at sea.
