Mayotte: Urban restoration in the popular district of M’Gombani in Mamoudzou
A partnership agreement between the Town Hall of Mamoudzou and the French Agency of development was signed on 20th December last to the urban restoration of the popular M’Gombani district in the heart of downtown Mamoudzou.

A loan in an amount of € 3.1 million will thus be unlocked to finance a portion of the work and economically revitalize this landlocked sensitive area, lack of equipment as well as infrastructure.

104 homes will eventually be rehabilitated and 121 new housing will be built. A construction of large scale in terms of development of roads, rehabilitation of building stock  in social home, new homes, of economy (businesses, local activities and office building), equipment (MJC, nursery, school group) and land (land regularization).

Initiated by the National Agency for urban renewal (ANRU), the program of M’Gombani commits the State and the general Council, alongside the Town Hall in Mamoudzou.
