Mayotte: Three fishermen reported missing found safe and sound




The three fishermen went to sea last Monday and missing in the South of Mayotte at Kani-Keli in the wake of heavy rains which were slaughtered on the Department have been found unharmed, this weekend, off the coast of Mount Choungui to twelve nautical miles from the coast.
 
Three fishermen whose boat was out of fuel were able to notify relatives of their exact position by cellular managing to pick up a mobile phone network.
 
Their families immediately warned rescuers that were deployed on the scene to bring assistance.
 
The helicopter of the mounted police has thus performed an operation of hoisting of the survivors.
 
The latter owe their survival to the presence aboard their boat with several liters of water which have enabled them to avoid dehydration, according to the Journal of Mayotte newspaper.
