Mayotte: The future administrative detention center located near the high school in Petite-Terre disputed

The parents-teachers association of the Lycée de Pamandzi in Petite-Terre opposes the construction next of the future administrative detention center (CRA) near the high school.

"It is unbelievable that we have imagined to build a prison near a school," complained an official of the association, while stressing that the dispute aims only the place chosen for the implementation of future CRA.

The association has expressed its objections to the prefecture of Mayotte and did not succeed on the complaints presented to the authorities.
 
The future CRA will be built on 4 acres and will have 136 seats at a total cost of some 23 million euros.
 
The work will begin before the end of this year, according to the mayottehebdo.com site.

As part of the public inquiry into the construction of the town hall of CRA Pamandzi open from November 6 to 20 no notice had been received on Tuesday night.
