Mayotte: The first film shot on the island of perfumes gathers 3.370.000 viewers on France 2

The island of Mayotte was in the spotlight on the small screen in metropolis Wednesday evening.
 
France 2 had programmed "Paradis amers"* at 20:40. The telefilm shot in Mayotte has attracted 3.37 million viewers, 13.3% market share according to figures of audiences.
 
The fiction retraces the experience of Hugo, a teenager forced to follow his parents to Mayotte.
 
On the island of perfumes, the only white student of his school, Hugo confronts another world, a new atmosphere, view the slums and plunges into a culture previously unknown.
 
As a reminder, "Paradis amers"* won an award at the festival of fiction TV of La Rochelle in 2012 by winning the award for best screenplay.
