Mayotte: Teachers on strike to claim a wage increase of 53%
The main primary school teachers unions in Mayotte (SNUIPP and FO) are on strike since this Monday in Mayotte.
 
Teachers after the strike calling for wage indexation in line with the same treatment as wages prevailing at the meeting, which amounted to 53% increase compared to metropolitan France.
 
The Intersyndicale also requires immediate negotiations on wage indexation to Mayotte with the government on the eve of the presentation of a report on Friday a ministerial mission on the subject.
