Mayotte: Second fact-finding mission of the Chancery to sift through the operation of the Mamoudzou TGI in the wake of the Roukia case
A second fact-finding mission of the Chancery composed of three inspectors-General of judicial services landed on Thursday last in Mayotte, a year after the first, to sift through the functioning of justice on the island of perfumes, and this, until the end of the week.

 A climate stretched in the TGI that follows the death of Barbara, young schoolgirl aged 18 years, whose lifeless body was found January 15, 2011, half buried in the North of Mamoudzou.

The autopsy revealed a death due to an overdose of heroin, hard drug which would have been indirectly delivered on the local market by officers of the police of Mayotte which were stationed at the time of the events to the Intervention (IRM) Mayotte Regional grouping, and this, through their Comorian indicators, locally named "tonton".

As a reminder, the investigating judge of the tribunal de Grande Instance de Mamoudzou, Hakim Karki, as part of its investigation of the case Roukia has indicted for complicity in drug trafficking three members of the GIR.
