Mayotte: Products with CE standards as "China Export" and not "European Conformity" dangerous for health
In recent weeks, potentially dangerous products imported from China with CE labeled "China Export" which could be confused with those bearing the "European Conformity" are at the heart of serious incidents on the island of Mayotte.

CE cigarette lighters "China Export" have exploded and this after several minutes of exposure to sunlight.

More worryingly, 6,000 tons of cement bearing the CE "China Export" logo, imported in September 2012, have a level of chromium 6, higher than the minimum endurance, as shown in the newspaper France Mayotte.

As a reminder, chromium 6 can cause acute eczema, stomach disorders, ulcers, respiratory disorders, severe sequelae liver and kidneys, and even lung cancer.
