Mayotte: A drifting boat of type kwassa-kwassa sought by an important emergency patrol
A boat of type kwassa-kwassa with illegal immigrants on board would be adrift in the lagoon in the North sector of Mtsamboro on Mayotte according to Kewezi Television which relayed information given by the gendarmerie of the island of perfumes.

Three ships of the Police Air and borders (PAF), of the National Gendarmerie and the French Navy are deployed to area to travel around the lagoon but no drift boat was located.

A helicopter with a diver in the water brigade unit also flew unsuccessfully twice the waters of Mtsamboro.

The device research was lifted late yesterday morning, Sunday, as the authorities assume that Kwassa Kwassa-drifting is not in the French territorial waters.

However, information was transmitted to most commercial ships off the coast.
