Mauritius strengthens its serving position from Russia and Kazakhstan

The Mauritian tourism authorities have recently decided to strengthen their air service position from Russia and Kazakhstan.

The airline companies "S7 Airline" from Novosibirsk (third largest city in Russia) and "Air Stana" of Kazakhstan officially recorded as a strategic business agreement with Emirates Airlines for a code sharing * of operating in Mauritius as indicated by the tourist information website ilemaurice-tourisme.info.

* The code share is based on commercial agreements between different airlines

The code sharing of flights or joint operation is a cooperation between airlines which allows the operation of a destination by several carriers.

One airline is responsible for conducting direct flight and the other company, its partner on the destination, has the right to sell seats on this flight with its own international airline code.
