Mauritius: Two Indian stars to celebrate the Festival of lights on the island

The Mauritian authorities recently announced the coming of the very popular Indian actress, Madhru Dixit, to celebrate on the island the Divali Festival (Festival of lights) on 23 October next, under the aegis of the Ministry of Arts and Culture.
 
The star of the Bollywood film industry wil thus be accompanied while moving in Mauritius of the famous singer and Director, Farhan Akhtar.
 
The two stars will be on stage during a spectacle in color at the Anjalay stadium on the side of Belle-Vue in the North of Mauritius, as indicated in the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
 
As a reminder, the celebration of light represents for the Indian community, the quest for the inner light, the spirit in honour of the goddess Lakshmi and wife of the God Vishnu and the victory of good over evil.
 
Diwali or Deepawali, is composed of two sanskrit words, deepa, "light", and awali meaning "row, alignment".
