Mauritius: The tourism authorities want to double the number of Indian travelers visiting the island in 2015

The Mauritian tourism authorities want to double the number of Indian tourists visiting the island of Mauritius this year. The optimists reported figures in the first seven of 2015 would help to accomplish this goal.

Thus, it is 45,797 tourists from Great Peninsula who have walked the Mauritian soil between last January and July. In comparison with the same period of the calendar year, Indian travelers were up 21.5%.

To confirm this increasing trend, the Office of Tourism of Mauritius (Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority) this week is in full promotion of the destination to Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi.

As a reminder, 61,167 Indian tourists had deposited their luggage in Mauritius last year.
