Mauritius: The domestic debt of the country stood at 165.3 billion rupees




The latest figures published by the authorities indicate a public debt which rose in one year by 10.2% at the end of last December to reach about 165.3 billion rupees against 149.9 billion rupees * registered a year earlier.
 
The domestic debt of the country consists essentially by medium-term obligations amounting to 76.8 billion rupees.
 
* One euro roughly equivalent to 37 rupees
