Mauritius: The Rose Hill Transport bus Company will soon introduce in the heart of its fleet 9 low floor buses




The Rose Hill Transport Holding Limited bus Company has decided to strengthen its fleet with the deployment on its network 9 low floor buses.
 
Eleven buses of this type are already in circulation since October 2013 and nine other buses will join the fleet in the coming days.
 
These low floor vehicles represent an investment of 60 million rupees *, as reported by the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
 
"In a short time, we had loyal passengers. There is lot of elderly who prefer this means of transport because the steps are very low", said Sidharth Sharma, general manager of the company.
 
As a reminder, in 2013 RHT Holding Limited transported 10,200,000 passengers on its 14 lines which accommodate on average all the days almost 40,000 passengers.
