Mauritius: The Central Bank of Mauritius informed the public of the island on the resurgence of fraudulent e-mails




The Central Bank of Mauritius (BoM) asked the public to be vigilant with regard to the ongoing spread of fraudulent Bank e-mails.
 
These emails thus allow fraudsters to obtain personal protected information and details of bank accounts attacked by the mass data processing.
 
These emails make it possible for fraudsters to obtain protected personal information and details of bank accounts attacked by this computer method for mass.
 
The Central Bank of Mauritius invites also any person victim of fraudulent e-mails to report the case as quick as possible to the police of the island, as indicated by the Mauritian newspaper Le Défi Quotidien.
