Mauritius: The Austrian Airlines disembarks on October 29th




A new air link from Vienna in Austria will serve as from 29 October the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport of Plaisance. The Austrian Airlines Company subsidiary of Lufthansa will provide flights.
 
"The Austrians are fond of distant destinations. We are pleased to offer Mauritius as a destination," said Jaan Albrecht, CEO of Austrian Airlines.
 
A Boeing 767-300 ER and two-class will operate on the line with a scheduled arrival on Thursday afternoon in Mauritius and an expected return on Friday morning. Until April 2007, the national Mauritian company Air Mauritius, connected Mauritius to Austria with one flight per week.
