Mauritius: The Agence française de développement unblocks 500,000 euros for the Mauritian authorities

The Mauritian authorities signed on Monday 22 September an agreement with France on the Fund of expertise and trade capacity-building between the two countries.

Funding of 500,000 euros, or approximately 20 million rupees, has thus been granted to the authorities of Port-Louis via the Agence française de développement.

This grant will be used for feasibility studies through several areas, such as "the management of medical waste and storm water, the blue economy and enhancement of the products of the sea," the study for the installation of the submarine optical cable in Rodrigues, as reminded the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
